AIRPORT FOR TAURANGA
GOOD SITES AVAILABLE From Our Oven Correspondent TAURANGA, Wednesday. A public meeting, convened by the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, was held last evening for the purpose of establishing an airport at Tauranga. It was pointed out that the conditions for such a port were ideal, both suitable lands and water sites being available. A committee was set up to obtain expert information and to report to a meeting at an early date.
