The circumstances responsible for the bankruptcy of Frank Thompson Irvine, farmer, Orini, were investigated by the official assignee, Mr. V. K. Crowhurst, at a meeting of creditors today.
Bankrupt’s schedule showed debts £629 19s and assets Iss. Bankrupt stated ho had a sharemilking agreement with W. No ton, of Auckland. Noton alleged a breach of contract, and subsequently the dairy company seized the stock, which he had sold under a bill of sale. Questioned by the assignee, bankrupt said he had filed twice before, and could make no offer. The creditors passed a resolution agreeing to further investigation of bankrupt’s affairs by the assignee.
