CHILDREN'S OUTING
TRIP TO THE COUNTRY • Many city children were given opportunity of becoming acquainted with country conditions when Pukekohe School and members of tfc* Franklin branch of the Auckland Ante* mobile Association entertained xnot# than 200 children of the Curran School, teachers and parents, Saturday afternoon. The city children left by an : train, and arrived at Pukekohe *9**% nine o’clock. After morning tea the Pukekohe school, the visitors the guests of the Automobile Assodee tion on motor trips to various of the district, enjoying to the the sight of beautiful rural lull cultivation. After lunch at the school, were played by teams representing two schools, and at 2.30 the viriUW took their leave, and returned Auckland by the Rotorua express. _
