PEARCE, WINS FINELY ON PARRAMATTA United r.A.—By T clegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, Sunday. At the annual regatta on ttic Parramatta River yesterday. It. Pearce won the 2,000 metres sculling championship of New South Wales in Umin 40sec. This is a world's record, and is 21 seconds better than the Olympic record. Pearce was never seen to greater advantage. The senior eight-oared championship was again won by the Mosrnan crew. The distance was one mile. The junior eights and also the maiden fours were won by Mosman crews.
