RACING was continued at Te Kami today; the second and It concluding day of the To Kuiti Kacing Club's meet inn being held there before a good attendance. Track conditions were excellent. Making her first appearance. Te Waitai won the opening event in impressive style from the favourite. Parfait Amour, with Biddy Comet in third place. Archeen scored a comfortable win from Master Holey in the Pio Pio Hurdles, and The Lamb was not disgraced under liis big weight.

The second and concluding day of tho To Kuiti annual meeting was held todav, pleasant weather conditions and good fields ensuring a large attendance. The track provided good going. Won by half a length, with a head between second and third. Time, 1.17 1-5. Winner trained by A. Cook, Te AwaBetting in the Trial Handicap took a wide range and the fancied quartet, Parfait Amour (£157), Nassau Lady (£146),C01l (£143) and Te Waitai (£126) were all at a good price. Nassau Lady, Searcher, and Valreina were prominent when the field was dispatched, but at the end of a furlong Te Waitai made play from Valreina. Coll, Biddy Comet and Belle Star, and a similar order was maintained round the turn, Te Waitai being clear at this stage. The leader hung on well in a desperate finish to beat Parfait Amour by half a length, with the. outsider, Biddy Comet, a head further back. Nassau Lady was fourth, and in a h«ap followed Tuku, Coll, Perennis and Belle Star. The winner, who races in Pegaway's colours, was having her first race and displayed plenty of promise.

Winner trained by G. A. Reid, Te Aroha. Master Holey had most friends in the Pio Pio Hurdles, winding up with £3Ol, as against The Lamb £221, but victory went to Archeen, third fancy with £l9l. Racing to the first fence Spalpiko, Archeen and Taha were in a line, but at the stand Archeen drew out and led out of the straight from Ned Kelly, Spalpiko, Taha, Master Roley, The Lamb. Otranto and Mashoor. Passing the five-furlongs Archeen had six lengths’break over the field, but nearing the straight she was joined by Master Roley, with The Lamb and Mashoor following. Once straightened up, however, Archeen went out by herself and beat Master Roley comfortably by two lengths. The Lamb beingin third place a length and a-half back. Joy Girl, Valstreet, Cruachan and Big Bertha. Round the bend Te Taone was attended bv Patere. Joy Girl, Big Bertha, Cruaclian and Valstreet, the last four being in a line, with Big Bertha on the outside. it was a good finish, Patere drawing out to win fairly comfortably bv a length from Big Bertha, who was half a length ahead of Valstreet. Snow Prince was jus tout of a place and in close order came Cruachan, Joy Girl, Royal Lover Gay Caballero and Oscar.
