CHASED BY INSPECTOR
INTOXICATION CHARGE AGAINST MOTORIST After a chase on the Great South Road near Papatoetoe on Saturday James Miller, builder, Mount Albert, was arrested by Traffic Inspector Barrett on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. The chase concluded by Miller’s car colliding with pipes on the roadside and puncturing two tyres. This morning Miller appeared in the Otahuhu Police Court and was remanded to appear next Monday. Bail was allowed.
