NORMAN TREVOR DEAD
OLYMPIC REPRESENTATIVE AND ATHLETE LOS ANGELES, Thursday. The death occurred today at Norwalk, California, of Mr. Norman Trevor, aged 52, a former stage and screen actor. He was a member of the British Olympic team in 1900. Vie was born and educated in Calcutta. Mr. Norman Trevor was from 1893 to 1900 all-round champion athlete of India. He competed at Paris in the Olympic Games of 1900. He won a medal and a bronze statue for the best physique of athletes from among all nations at Paris. He went to England in 1905, and first appeared at the Apollo Theatre, London, in “The Stronger Six” in 1907. He had played in a great number of plays in London, on tour, and in America, including “His House in Order,” “The Liars,” “The Doll’s House.” “Lady Windermere's Fan,” “An Ideal Husband.” and “Lilies of the Field,” and in Shakespeare during the festival at His Majesty’s, London, in 1910.
