“KNOCKING” RESENTED
CREDIT OF AUSTRALIA INJURED MR. THEODORE’S COMPLAINT SYDNEY, Monday. Mr. E. k*. Theodore, Federal Treasurer, complains that somebody is going out of his way to injure Australia's credit abroad. Since the advent of the Labour Ministry there had been a certain amount of “knocking” at home and abroad which was monstrously mean and unpatriotic. However, said Mr. Theodore, he was pleased to say there had been a sharp recovery in Australian stocks since it vc is discovered that the Australian 'eminent was both sane and practical.
