Dr. K. 11. D. Mllsom returned to Auckland this morning. Mr. Justice Flair arrived in Auckland by the Limited today. The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.C., went South last evening. Sir Frederic Lang, M.L.C., was a passenger to "Wellington last evening. The Hon. Francis Mander, M.L.C., was a passenger to Wellington last evening. Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P., was a passenger from Frankton to Wellington last evening. Mr. A. G. Smyth, of Apia, Samoa, arrived by the Tofua yesterday and is staying at the Hotel Cargen. Father Downey, resident priest at Howick, who has. been on a trip to Ireland, has returned to New Zealand. Mr. James A. Lamb, general managff of the Parker - Lamb Timber Company, returned from Sydney by the L'limaroa this morning. Mr. I'. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, who left for Wellington yesterday in connection with the Dominion Dairy Workers’ dispute, mill ; return on Thursday. Mr. H. J. Jones, manager of the Yaitele Plantations, owned by New Zealand Reparations Instates, Samoa, arrived in New Zealand by the Tofua yesterday. Mr. 11. G. Pilling, formerly assistant to the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, arrived by the Tofua yesterday and is to British Honduras, where he will hold the post of Colonial Secretary. Lieut.-Colonel E. Turton, an experienced English angler and deep-sea fisherman, arrived by the Tofua yesterday. He intends to spend live months in the Dominion before returning to London. Mr. Albert Spencer, president of the Auckland Provincial Association, returned from Wellington yesterday after attending the annual meeting of the Employers' Federation. Mr. H. E. Schureck, general manager for Warner Brothers and First National films in New Zealand, returned from a visit to Sydney by the Ulimaroa today. Mr. Howard Johnson, managing director of, Cook and Co., Auckland, who has been on a business trip to England and the Continent, returned this morning by the Ulimaroa from Sydney. The Rev. V. H. Courtney, who has just completed his training at St. Patrick’s College, Manly, Sydney, returned to Auckland by the Ulimaroa this morning. After his ordination he will bo attached to the Auckland Diocese for duty. Members of Parliament who left for Wellington last evening were Messrs. H. G. R. Mason, W. Lee Martin, A. Harris, If. M. Ruslnvorth, H. It. Jenkins. A. W. Hall. C. H. Clinkard, J. S. Fletcher. W. K, Parry, W. J. Jordan and W. J. Broadfoot. Mr. H. (i. Scott, formerly general manager of th(3 Siamese Tin Syndicate, and now a director of tho company, arrived from Sydney by the Ulimaroa this morning.
