Willems, export counsel to the Franklin Automobile Company, is sailing by the Port Melbourne for South America, having completed an extensive study of the New Zealand market. Commander Charles Ernest Hotham, rN-. has been appointed to the command of H.M.S. Laburnum, qf the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. Commander F. N. Attwood, R.N., present commander of H.M.S. Laburnum, will return to England shortly. The appointment is announced of Mr. H. W. Henry as representative in New Zealand for Franklin cars. Mr. Henry will take care of the organisation of Franklin dealers throughout New Zealand, and will be leaving early jn December on a hurried trip to the United States. HOTEL REGISTER Grand. —Mr. J. E.
