MOTOR-CAR DAMAGED
FIRE AT PAPATOETOE The Papatoetoe Fire Brigade received a call to the home of Mr. Cyril j Walker, Rangitoto Avenue, Papatoetoe, ! at 10 o’clock this morning. Mr. Walker’s motor-car backfired when being started, and burst into * flames. All the wiring was destroyed and a portion of the upholstery damaged. The outbreak was suppressed with ; a chemical extinguisher. • [
