PAPAKURA ATHLETIC CLUB The Papakura Sports and Athletic Club’s meetnig was held in brilliant sunshine today, before a good attendance. The Auckland Artillery Band played selections during the afternoon. The half-mile cycle race was won by W. Pratney. X. White was second, with R. Clarke third. Maiden Handicap, 120yds.—X. Stephens, 1; R. Porteous, 2; X. Read, 3. Sheffield Handicap.—Final (120yds).— J. Linden. 1: J. Maloney, 2; Hudson, 3.
