CUBIS CASE AGAIN
FURTHER REMAND OF ONE MONTH WOMAN UNFIT TO APPEAR On tile application of Chief-Detec-tive Hammond, a further remand of one month was granted at the Police Court by Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., this morning, when Annie Elizabeth Cubis was charged with murder. Cubis, a married woman, aged 40, was charged with murdering her twin boys, Timothy Brian Cubis and William Arran Cubis at Dominion Road bn August 6. She did not appear having been in the Mental Hospital since the tragedy. “This woman has been continually on remand,” said the chief-detective. “She has been out at the Mental Hospital and I should like the maximum remand of 28 days.” The remand was made until November 24.
