Sir Frederic Lang arrived in Auckland this morning. Mr. I-ester Brown, of Wellington, arrived by the Limited this morning on a short visit to Auckland. Mr. Winton Keay, of Wellington, has been appointed editor of the "Xorth Otaso Daily Times.” The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, was a passenger by the Limited this morning. Mr. S. H. Jenkinson. designing engineer of the Railways Department, travelled to Wellington last evening. Mr. G. McNamara, Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, arrived by the Limited today. Mr. F. N. Hills, managing director of Thompson and Hills, Auckland, accompanied by Mrs. Hill, has left for Sydney.

Mr. .T. H. McKenzie, general secretary of the Post and Telegraph Employees’ Association, arrived by this morning’s express.

Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Labour Party, arrived in Auckland this morning. He will attend the Post and Telegraph Officers' Reunion this evening.

Mr. H. C. Jones, a member of the Transport Advisory Council, and president of the North Island Motor Union, leaves on a business visit to Sydney by the Marama today.

The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterOeneral, is suffering from an attack of influenza and has been in bed since Wednesday. He hopes to be at work again early next week.
