ST. JAMES THEATRE
POPULAR MUSICAL COMEDY Two acts and four scenes of clever humour and snappy songs and dances pleased a large aiidience at the St. James Theatre last evening, when Jim * Jerald again presented the complete musical comedy, “The Honeymoon Girl,” It makes a welcome change from the usual revue. Romance, * with its intrigues, forms the basis of this story, which is brimful of laughter, song and dance. Jim Gerald is again the centre of mirth, with his unlimited supply of witticisms. He easily transforms a solemn wedding breakfast scene into screaming farce. A number of novel and beatiful presentations are interwoven with the plot, and go to make this the biggest and best production of this company yet seen in Auckland. Some of the most popular vocal numbers sung by Jim Gerald are “1 Said 'Oh* ”, “Hush, Hush, Hush,” and ‘The Visitors’ Book.” - A new revue, “Barebacks,” will be presented by the company on Tuesday.
