It is rather a striking oddity of pictures that Miss Del Rio, the accepted type for vampire roles, now a p p e a r s with young Charles Farrell, who was the naive Cliieo in “Seventh Heaven” with the unsophisticated Janet Gav-
ni jj’olores Del Rio created her reputation opposite the virile Victor MeLa glen in “What Price Glory. and again in “Carmen.” She was the crimson woman of easy laughter and easier morals in both. But in The Red Dance,” while she still appears in the role of a woman whose power over men is phenomenal, her comrade in drama is a slim boy whose knowledge of the world is scarcely less in ins characterisation than it is in actual existence.
