MOTOR-CYCLING MISHAPS

ELDERLY MAN KNOCKED DOWN TWO RIDERS BREAK LEGS Severe injuries to his head were received by . Mr. Peter Kerr, aged 67, as the result of being knocked down by a motor-cycle on Saturday morning. The injured man was removed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory. As the result of his motor-cycle colliding with a motor-car in Onehunga on Sunday afternoon, Mr. Thomas Ralph Grayson, aged 25, of 352 Queen Street, Onehunga, received a fracture of the leg. He was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition is satisfactory. Ernest Charles Farr, aged 15, of Port Albert, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital at 8.45 p.m. suffering from a compound fracture of the leg, which he received as a result of the motor-cycle he was riding colliding with a motor-car at an intersection near Wellsford on Sunday afternoon. His condition is reported by the hospital authorities to be not serious. Selwyn Workman, aged IS, a farm hand, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday afternoon with a fracture of the leg. The condition of Workman, who is employed on a property at Pokeno, is believed to be satisfactory.
