MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE
ONE JAMMED ON GATE A collision between a light car and a touring car at the intersection of Dower Symonds Street and Waterloo Quadrant at 2.15 on Saturday afternoon resulted in the smaller car overturning. Cuts and bruises about the head were received by the driver, Mr. Cecil Darkin. of Royal Court. The touring car, driven by Mr. S. E. Bush, was proceeding down Symonds Street, while the other vehicle was crossing the main road toward Waterloo Quadrant. The force of the impact capsized the smaller car and jammed it against the gateway leading into the Supreme Court grounds. The driver of the touring car, and the two passengers in Mr. Larkin’s car escaped injury.
