WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP
FINAL AGREEMENT SIGNED The final agreement between “Farmer” Vance and Clarence Ekluncl to wrestle for the light-heavy-weight championship of the world in the Auckland Town Hall on October *2l, was signed this morning. On Saturday it was arranged that Vance would guarantee Eklund £4OO anil take the proceeds of the whole of the house. However this morning Kklund agreed to take £IOO of Vance’s money, which has been deposited with the New Zealand Wrestling Association, arid £3OO of the house to make up the £4OO, Vance to take any money that was more than that amount. In the event of the house takings not realising £3OO, which is extremely unlikely, Vance will have to make the amount up out of his own pocket.
