CROSS-COUNTRY RACE
VAUXHALL SCHOOL EVENT Fifty-two boys from the Vauxhal School competed in a cross-country | race this afternoon. The course of approximately tw< miles ran from the Narrow Neck Hal to the grandstand on the Takapum Racecourse. The race resulted as follows —R Josling, 3; J. Bennett, 2; M. Josling, 3 Fastest time, R. Josling, who coverei the distance in 10m 51s. Second fast est time, R. Kenning, 11m. 14s.
