ON HOLIDAY
Trainer J. S. Shaw is taking advantage of the lull following the Auckland benefit fixture to have a brief rest, arid has gone North to spend a week’s holiday with W. Hand, owner of Carmel. His team, which thi3 week recorded an addition in Florent, is being attended to by his capable staff in the interim, and on the trainer’s return will be sent along in real earnest again, for the forthcoming fixtures.
