EARTHQUAKE OBSERVATION
QUESTION BEFORE HOUSE Association WELLINGTON, Today. Interviewed in regard to the recent announcement by Mr. Hoblnson and Professor Farr that earthquakes could be pi-edicted, the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister in charge of Scientific and Industi-ial l-esearch, stated that the matter had been carefully considered by the observatory committee of the research council and proposals were before Parliament to deal adequately with the whole question of earthquake observations.
