RIMUTAKA RETURNS
BREAK DOWN IN ENGINEROOM REPAIRS TO BE EFFECTED The steamer Rimutaka returned to her berth at Queen’s Wharf at 3.45 p.m. The high pressure piston rod in the port engine bent when the vessel was half-way between Rangitoto and the Channel Island. Repairs are being carried out and it is expected that a departure will be made tomorrow.
