HIGH SCHOOL DANCE
PLEASANT GATHERING AT TE KUITI | OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION With the object of raising funds for the purchase of a gramophone, a dance was arranged by the teachers and pupils in the new High School build- | ing, Te Kuiti. on Wednesday evening. ; The two large classrooms made nn | excellent dance-liall, and an enjoyable I time was spent by a large number of | pupils and ex-pupils of the Te Kuiti ; School. The building was brightly decorated I for the occasion. During the evening Mr. Merrick, ; teacher in charge of the High School. I announced that a suggeston had been made that an Old Pupils’ Association should be formed, and with this end in view a meeting of those interested will be held next month.
