LARGE PROGRAMME ARRANGED
AUCKLAND COMPETITIONS The fourth annual festival of the Auckland Competitions Societjr is to bo held at the Lewis Eady Hall on October 17 and will continue until October 27. The schedules for the festival have already been prepared Vocal, instrumental, dancing and choral items will be among the main features, while there are close upon one hundred classes for elocution. Four adjudicators from other centres will be appointed. Special medals have been donated by city firms and musicians. Cash prize:-; will also be provided.
