TRAM AND LORRY COLLIDE
ACCIDENT IN SYMONDS STREET A collision between a tramcar and a light motor-lorry occurred between Grafton Bridge and City Road, Symonds Street, shortly after eight o’clock this morning. No one was injured. , , The lorry, which is owned by Mr. J. Ross, confectioner, of Eden Terrace, was travelling up Symonds Street when it was struck by an outwardbound Great South Road tramcar. The tram had the front window broken and the brake pushed back, and the lorry was slightly damaged.
