UNEMPLOYED INSURANCE
PLANS OF GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE INVESTIGATING At its last meeting the City Council asked the Government to submit an unemployed insurance scheme for consideration by the council. The Prime Minister has replied that a special committee is at present investigating the whole question of unemployment and that the Government proposes to await the recommendations of the committee before bringing down legislative proposals.
