CAPTAIN OF ONEWA HURT l WATERFRONT ACCIDENT /' . ’ While going ashore at Prince's WharC yesterday afternoon, the mastar o£ the small steamer Onewa, Captain H. Bradney, slipped and fell from the gangway. As he fell he struck the wharf and tecaived injuries to his back. The injured man was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition is reported to be satisfactory. Captain Bradney, who is married, is aged 49 years, and lives at 18 Edwin Street, Newton. Mr. A. Ellis, who met with a similar accident on the Marama yesterday morning, and who was taken to to hospital suffering from injuries to the back, is reported to be in a satisfactory condition.
