A NEW ARRIVAL
THE latest addition to light' _ harness aspirants in Auckland is the American-bred four-year-old trotter Linnett the Great, which arrived during the week-end from England under the care of her owner, Mr. F. J. Smith. The mare, which has raced with a fair amount of success in the Old Country, is well-bred, being a half-sister to Contender, a recognised two-year-old world-beater. Mr. Smith, who has followed the training profession at Home, will probably settle in Auckland, and Linnett the Great will shortly be put in work again.
