NORTHCOTE FIRE BRIGADE
The annual meeting of the Northcoto Fire Brigade was presided over by Captain W. P. Roberts. The following positions were allotted for the ensuing year:—Foreman, ABrodie: second driver, A. Bradbunu senior hydrantman, G. Stewart; junior hydrantraan, J. Andrews; sen-or branchman, A. Hurley; junior branen*’ man, H. Pearce; librarian, H. Herrick, steward, C. Morrison; lion, secretar. and treasurer, G. Watson. . The annual report stated that fox 12 months ending July 31, I*4 fires n occurred, four of which had been * the Birkenhead borough.
