COTTON TRADE DISPUTE
LABOUR MINISTRY WORKS FOR SETTLEMENT NO TANGIBLE RESULT {'Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. The Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, flew from Lossiemouth to Edinburgh last evening to meet Sir Horace Wilson. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, in order to discuss the basis of a settlement of the cotton trade dispute. After the conference he flew back to Lossiemouth to attend church there today. Sir Horace Wilson was busily engaged in Manchester on Friday in meeting the parties to the cotton trade dispute, and there were many conferences; but at the end of the day no tangible result could be reported.
