Dater he bought a corn and produce business, and, with a brother, founded the wholesale firm of Robertson Bros. Mr. James Robertson still conducts it. Mr. Peter Robertson retired over 25 years ago, and since then lived at Avondale on a property with an excellent view of the Waitemata. Regatta committees appreciated the use of Mr. Robertson’s property in holding events on a stretch of the Whau River. For a time, Mr. Robertson was a member of the Avondale Road Board. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was also a founder of St. David's Presbyterian Church on a Symonds Street property. Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, four sons, and four daughters.
