GRAMMER JUBILEE BOWLING

The diamond jubilee celebrations of the Auckland Grammar School will commence next Saturday, when 12 rinks of old boys, ranging from the year of the school’s foundation, 1869, to IS'JO wiil play ii bowling match against the Carlton Club. If any Grammar old boys up to 1596 have been overlooked they will be given a game if they attend early.

“Always Available” is the slogan of the St. John Ambulance services. Last year tho ambulances removed 1,279 patients, travelled 10.054 miles and rendered first aid to 3,130 workers or. the wharves. Friends of the poor and the suffering are asked to help by sending donations to the honorary secretary at the ambulance station. 1
