MINING ON SHOTOVER
GOLD COMPANY BUSY Press Association INVERCARGILL, Today. A revival of mining on the Shotover is foreshadowed by the launching of a large pontoon for the Golden Terrace Company. Good progress has been made with the big dredge and power plant, and operations are expected to commence in a few months. “A FRIEND INDEED” The death of Mr. A. M. Loasby, the “Prescribing Chemist,” is a loss much to be regretted by all his friends, and countless patrons throughout New Zealand, to whom he was indeed a friend in need, especially in all matters relative to health, and more particularly the minor simple ills of nearly all alike in our everyday life. In view' of the great loss to the community caused by Mr. Loasby’s death, it will afford his patrons pleasure to learn that Mr. J. J. F. Walker, M.P.S., Consulting and Manufacturing Chemist, has purchased all the late Mr. A. M. Loasby’s Prescriptions and Formulas, together with his files of correspondence, etc., and therefore will be able to supply all the repeats and orders for famous "LOASB*Y REMEDIES,” Prescriptions, etc. Please note the address: J. J. F. WALKER. Consulting Chemist, 2nd Floor, Cooke’s Building, 58-60 Queen Street, Auckland. “FOLLOW THE CROWD TO COOKE’S” 12
