Auckland, “'ellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. j THE PORT MELBOURNE.—The Com-1 monwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port lVlelbournc is scheduled to sail from London on July 31 with a general merchandise cargo for discharge at Suva, Auckland and Port Chalmers. She should reach Auckland about September 9. CARGO FROM NEW YORK.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the City of Lincoln will noxv leave New York on July 31 with general cargo for discharge at Suva, Auckland. \Vellington, Lyttelton. and Dunedin. The following vessels are to leave New York for Auckland, X‘Vellington, Lyttelton and Dun—edin: Matoppo, on August 22; Tradinnick, on September 3: Keelung, September 17: Surrey. on October 1; and Arma—dale, on October 22. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.— The W'airuna left Auckland on June 26. She was due at Vancouver yesterday, and will clear the Pacific Coast on August 10 for Napier. Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson. New Plymouth and possibly Wellington. She is due at Napier on September 4. The W'alkawa cleared Suva on July 20 for Vancouver direct, where she is due on August 10. and clears the Pacific Coast on September 3 for Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne and Sydnev. She is due at Auckland on September 28. The VVaihemo will clear Dunedin on Thursday for Bluff and New Plymouth. The Waltemata left Melbourne on July 20 for Sydney, thence Port Kembla, Suva, and Vancouver. The Hauraki left Los Angeles on July 15 for Auckland direct, where she is due on August 6, thence Wellington. Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. and returns to Vancouver direct. HUNTINGDON AT LONDON.—The Federal Line steamer Huntingdon is reported to have reached London from New Zealand last Sunday. She was dispatched from Auckland on June 10. TRELISSICK FOR NAU RU —Henderson and Macfarlane advise that the steamer Trelissick was to leave Westport yesterday for Nauru Island, where she loads phosphates for New Zealand or Australia. WAIOTAPU COMING. —-With a full cargo from Pacific Coast ports the Union Company's steamer Waiotapu celared Los Angeles last Saturday for Papeete, Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Papeete on August 4 and at Auckland on August 19. M AU N GAN UI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. —With passengers, mail and cargo from San Francisco, Papeete and Rarotonga, the Royal Mail liner Maunganui is due at Wellington on Monday morning. She is due to resume her voyage to Sydney the following afternoon. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. —According to cable advice the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tasmania left Liverpool last Saturday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is expected to arrive here on August. 27. MAHENO AND MARAMA.—The Marama from Auckland and the Maheno from Wellington are both due at Sydney this morning. The latter vessel leaves Sydney at noon on Friday for Auckland and the Marama at 3 p.m. the same day for 'Wellington. HUIA DUE TOMORROW. —The Nobel Explosive Company's auxiliary schooner Huia is due at Auckland tomorrow from Grafton, New South Wales, with a cargo of hardwood for discharge at this port. She has not yet been allotted a berth. Mr. C. E. Campbell is the local agent for the Huia. M A RISTON LEAVES OCEAN ISLAND. —Advice has been received by Henderson and Macfarlane that the steamer Mariston left Ocean Island on July 19 with 7,360 tons of phosphates for discharge at Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Lyttelton on August ULIMAROA AT WELLINGTON.—Advice has been received by the local office of Huddart-Parker, Limited, that the intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa arrived at Wellington at 5.35 a.m. today from Sydnev. The vessel is scheduled to sail again at noon on Friday on her return trip to the New South W ales port. R.M.S. MAKURA.—The Union Company has received advice that the Royal Mail liner Makura reached Vancouver from Auckland at five o’clock last Friday evening. The vessel is scheduled to sail tomorrow on her return voyage to New Zealand and Australia. She is due at Auckland on August 12 and at Sydney on August 16. DOCKING MOVEMENTSS.—The Auckland Harbour Board's dredge Hapai is to undock this afternoon, after having undergone a general overhaul. Tomorrow morning the cargo steamer Cerasus, which has been discharging guano from Juan de Nova at Centi'al Wharf, is to go into dock for cleaning, pairiting, and minor repairs. PORT ALMA FROM LONDON.—With a general merchandise cargo from London the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Alma is scheduled to reach Wellington on Friday. The cargo is for discharge at Wellington. Auckland and New Plymouth. She is expected at Auckland toward the end of next week. Heather, Roberton, Ltd., are the local agents. RUAHINE DUE TOMORROW. —The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine is due at Wellington at daylight tomorrow from London and Southampton, according to a radio message received. The liner has passengers and mails for disembarkation at Wellington and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. The Ruahine is expected here about tomorrow week. GOLDEN COAST DUE.—The Oceanic and Oriental Navigation Company's steamer Golden Coast is scheduled to reach Auckland next Saturday with lumber, case oil and general cargo from Pacific Coast ports. The cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. Cargo for Auckland will be unloaded to the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited. MATAROA FROM HOME.—Due at Wellington at daybreak tomorrow from London and Southampton, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Mataroa will land passengers and mails there and later proceeds to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff to discharge her cargo. Afterward the vessel loads at Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, and" is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on August 28 for Southampton and London, via Panama. TIMARU PORT RETURNS.—The Timaru Harbour Board’s returns for nine months ended June 30 show that the registered tonnage of vessels working the port during that period totalled 351.663 as against 357,514 tons for the last corresponding period. The imports totalled 41,465 tons, as against 38,851 tons; the exports totalled 70,398 tons, as against 66,153 tons. The revenue totalled £36,211 compared with £29,670, the figures for the previous corresponding period. KALINGO ARRIVES.—An arrival at Auckland yesterday afternoon was the Lamb's steamer Kalingo with a hardwood timber cargo from Sydney, Newcastle and Port Stephens. She sailed from Port Stephens last Tuesday night and experienced moderate to fresh south-west winds on the trip. Cargo for Auckland is being unloaded at Central Wharf, and the vessel is expected to sail for Gisborne and Napier this evening to continue discharge. From Napier she will return to Auckland to load timber for Australia, and from this port she will go to Kaipara to discharge and also to load. This is the vessel’s second visit to Auckland.
