CAR SOMERSAULTS

LANDS 0N HOOD WITH WHEELS SPINNING I THREE OCCUPANTS UNHURT (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. An extraordinary accident occurred at the junction of Anglesea, Thackeray and Hood Streets at what is known as “Brighton Corner” last evening, when a heavy sedan car, driven by Robert E. McCrae, manager of Buses, Ltd., collided with another car and turned a complete somersault, coming to rest on its hood with the four wheels revolving in the air, and the headlights still lighting up the whole road. A most extraordinary feature of the accident was that, although two women passengers were in McCrae's car, nobody was hurt and compara—tively little damage was done, apart from a smashed glass and crumpled hood. The other car received only minor damage.
