All Quiet on the Northern Front

The action of the City Librarian in refusing to place Remarque’s book “All Quiet on tlie Western FTont” in circulation among the city libraries was upheld, this week, by the City Council. Messrs. Bartram, Blooclworth and Lundon had something to say about the ban. Mr. H. P. Burton and Miss E. Melville -were among the supporters of the City Librarian.
