LETTERS
Bawn Ladies are always busy, Busy answering their letters, Letters written by the Sunbeams, Sunbeams who are most industrious, Writing, painting, busy always, Making poems, making stories, Posting them to Happy Town, Happy Town with all its people, Little people always merry. Little Thoughts are always busy— One I know particularly— Busy doing deeds of kindness, Kindness to the Pixie Postmen, Helping them with all the letters, Waiting for the Hollow Tree. Hollow Tree so large and full of. Full of answers to the Sunbeams’ Interesting, jolly letters. Doorkeepers are always busy, Busy polishing their knockers, Knockers which they twist to open, Open for the Pixie Postmen, Staggering with all their letters, Little bags quite full of letters, All addressed to Happy Town, Happy Town, which, like a bee-hive, Never ceases to be busy. Borothy White, aged 14.
