KEESING’S INJURIES

YVTHEN Merry Mint fell in the King George Hand’cap on the second day of the Great Northern meeting, the popular horseman, E. A. Keesing, received a bad fall and was sent to hospital. The diagnosis showed several broken ribs and slight internal injuries. During his fortnight’s sojourn in hospital, Keesing has made a splendid recovery, and all sportsmen will be pleased to learn that he did so well as to warrant his discharge from the institution last Monday. At the time of the accident it appeared as if Keesing was very badly hurt, but fortunately it was not so serious as it looked, although bad enough.
