Wilford, that Flight-Lieutenant Sidney Wallingford, of the Royal Air Force, j who has accepted the appointment of j captain in the New Zealand Air Force. 1 will arrive in the Dominion shortly. ; Mr. Wilford mentioned that Captain j Wallingford, who was an expert in fly-ing-boats and seaplanes, would be attached to the Hobsonville airdrome, where the seaplane base is situated. Captain Wallingford recently distin- j guished himself by winning the rifle championship of the Royal Air Force, i together with the Duke of Cumberland's Cup.
