INTERNATIONAL RACE
Ninety runners, representing 10 countries, competed in the international cross-country championships, held on the Vincennes Racecourse, near Paris. Sergeant W. M. Cotterell, of the Royal Signal Corps, won the individual championship, finishing the course, approximately eight miles, in 42m. 46is. France won the team championship. filling six of the first 10 places, including second, third and fourth.
