UNITED PARTY MEETING
IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN’S WORK
Stressing the importance of women’s work in the political world, Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion chairman, addressed a meeting of the women’s branch of the City East United Political Party in the party’s committee room on Tuesday evening.
Mr. Davy urged those present to enlarge tlieir sphere of activities in every direction and touched upon the political upheaval in England and affairs in the Dominion. Mr. H. C. Baulf, provincial organiser, and Mrs. Halpin, of the Auckland executive, were among those present.
