COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar came off the slip this morning and went to the dolphin to adjust her compass. Later she berths at the Queen’s Wharf. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel at 9 o’clock this evening for Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Kaituna arrived this morning from Grey mouth and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. Tonight she moves to the Western Wharf, and at 5 p.m. tomorrow she sails for Greymouth, to load again for Aucklahd. The Katoa, from Westport, via Napier, left Gisborne at 5.45 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due tonight at 9 o’clock. The Waimea arrived at Napier this morning and sails this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday. At 1 p.m. on Tuesday she leaves Auckland on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Waipiata, eh route from Bluff, left Dunedin at 8 p.m. yesterday, and leaves Lyttelton at 5 p.m. tomorrow, via Wellington, for Auckland. The Waikouaiti, from Port Chalmers, left Timaru at 9 p.m. yesterday, via Lyttelton and Picton, for Auckland. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Newcastle. he leaves Lyttelton on Monday. The Ivanna was to clear Greymouth early this morning for Auckland, where she; is expected on Monday next. The Kaimanawa sailed from Auckland last evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and . Timaru. The Westpovt Coal Company’s Canopus left Westport at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon for Auckland, and is due here on Sunday. She berths at the Western Wharf. The Pukeko is due this evening from Portland and berths at Central Wharf. At 3 p.m. tomorrow she is to be dispatched for East Coast bays. Napier and Wairoa.

The Awahou is arriving on Sunday from the East Coast and goes on to the

slip on Monday for her annual overhaul and survey.

The Mako, which is relieving the Awahou while that vessel is surveying, is expected to arrive in port this evening and berths at Central Wharf. She is scheduled to sail for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne at 5 p.m. on Tuesday next. The Scot sails for Waipu at 3 o’clock on Monday afternoon. The Margaret W., due tomorrow from Gisborne, sails on the return trip at noon on Tuesday next. She goes to King’s Wharf. The Tiroa is arriving from the East Coast during the week-end. At noon on Tuesday she is to leave for Hicks. Tokomaru and Tolaga Bays. She has been allotted a berth at King’s Wharf. The Coronation is to be dispatched for Awanui at noon tomorrow. The Knwau is to sail for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth at 5 o'clock this afternoon, and is due back at 4 p.m. tomorrow. The Omana leaves for Simfdale, Ostend and Omiha at 6.30 p.m. thi'* evening and returns to port at 9 o’clock tomorrow The Motu is to leave for Awanui and Wnipapakauri at noon tomorrow. The Rangitoto, due from Coromandel at 4.30 p.m. this afternoon, is to sail for Thaines at 7.30 o’clock tomorrow moraThe Ronaki is scheduled to sail for Tauranga at noon tomorrow, and should arrive back at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Taniwhnt is exnected from Paeroa at 8.30 p.m. today. Tier next departure for that port is scheduled for 6.30 o’clock on Sunday evening.
