POSTBAGS RIFLED
THEFTS AT ROSLYN DAMAGED CONTENTS FOUND Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. On Wednesday morning a postman’s overflow bag was stolen from the neighbourhood of Columba College, Roslyn, and rifled, the contents being found in a stream in Kaikorai Valley. Yesterday morning another bag was stolen from the railway station and subsequently found in a public convenience. In each case, officials are busy piecing together the torn correspondence and forwarding it. The police have arrested a man suspected of committing the offences.
