DOMINION’S EXPENSES FIGURES GIVEN FOR YEAR Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Public accounts for the year were gazetted today, but the usual summary was not furnished by the Treasury, as it explains the ground has already been covered by the Prime Minister in his public addresses. It may, however, be stated that the ordinary revenue for the year Is shown as £22,864,723. Among other receipts were: Territorial, £198,802; departmental receipts by Justice, Printing and other departments, £525,063; credits in reduction, £1,183,016. Expenditure includes interest £ 11,339,568; under special Acta, £6,273,196; annual appropriations, £9,094,218.
The Public Works account shows a balance in hand of £3,889,083.
