NEW PICTURES TOMORROW “Kitty,” the fine story from tjie pen of Warwick Deeping, w-ill be shown at the Grand and Lyric Theatres for the last time this evening. Estelle Brody and John Stuart are the stars of this production. “New Year’s Eve,’’ which will also be shown for the last time, stars Mary Astor in a tale of New York’s underworld.
An entirely new programme will be presented tomorrow, and will include “The Ringer,” the mystery thriller, based on the famous Edgar Wallace play. The talented cast of players is headed by Annette Benson and Leslie Faber. “Mother Knows Best,” which will also be shown tomorrow, is a powerful story of a mother’s domination of a popular actress, starring Madge Bellamy and Louise Dresser.
