YOUNG BUTCHER PUT ON PROBATION STOLE TYRE AND RIM “He is riding for a fall,” said Chief-Detective Hammond of Frederick Thomas Brindle at the Police Court this morning. “He has been going the pace and thinks he knows everything.’’ Brindle, a butcher, aged 28, faced three charges of theft, but Mr. Singer entering a plea of guilty on one, the other two were withdrawn. K. Hunt, S.M.

In view of what Mr. Singer had said, the magistrate decided to admit Brindle to probation for two years on the strictest terms. “1 think he should dispose of his car,” he added. Mr. Singer: That is to be done immediately.
