REPARATION REPORT
FRENCH GOVERNMENT TO ACCEPT LONDON CONFERENCE (United Service) PARIS, Wednesday. The French Government has decided to accept in its present form the report of the Committee of Experts on Reparation and to continue the policy of peaceful understanding with Germany initiated at Locarno. It is understood that the Foreign Minister, M. Aristide Briand, will propose the holding of a conference in London in July or August at which the adoption of the experts’ report and its logical consequences would be discussed. These include the evacuation of the two remaining zones in the Rhineland and the establishment of some form of control by the League of Nations to ensure that Germany carries out her treaty obligation to maintain a neutral zone on the Rhine. The French Parliament will also he asked to give the Premier, M. Raymond Poincare, authority immediately to ratify the two war debt agreements between France and Britain and France and the United States. On both of these M. Poincaire will stake the fate of his Government.
