CLERK HELD FOR THEFT
Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A serious deficiency in the funds of the Tenterfield Municipal Council led to the arrest of Daniel O’Grady, the town clerk, who was committed for trial on a charge of stealing. A detective . stated that the loss amounted to £B,OOO.
