“HIS TIGER LADY” AT ROYAL
Arresting plot, bizarre backgrounds, gorgeous costumes, a good cast, a great star role and the usual Men jou smartness —that’s “His Tiger Lady,” now at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland. Menjou’s role is that of a “super” in a French musical revue, who is desperately in love with Evelyn Brent, an heiress. How he wins her heart, despite his apparent unimportance in the world, forms the basis of the story. The second feature is “Breed of the Border.” starring Lefty Flynn in an unusually exciting story.
